Acrylic Impact Modifiers
Kane Ace™ all-acrylic impact modifiers are high-performance impact modifiers that have grown to become one of the market’s reference modifier resins for outdoor, durable PVC applications. They provide excellent impact efficiency and guarantee outstanding weatherability and durability for outdoor applications. Moreover, they have a wide process window for good processing flexibility. The main applications are window profiles, sidings, pipes, and furniture sheets.
The Kane Ace™ acrylic core-shell structure consists of an acrylic rubber core, which acts to absorb and dissipate the impact energy, and an acrylic graft layer. This acrylic shell layer improves the adhesion with the polymer matrix and facilitates dispersion.
