WHAT ARE PROCESSING AIDS?
Kane Ace™ processing aids are standard to high molecular weight acrylic copolymers which are very compatible with PVC. Added to the PVC compound in small quantities, they efficiently improve the PVC gelation from a slow, inhomogeneous melting process to a fast, homogeneous one. Furthermore, its addition remarkably enhances the melt strength and extensibility of PVC compounds required in production processes such as blow molding, film blowing, and thermoforming. Next to the improved processing, they upgrade the PVC surface quality from matt to the desired gloss level.
Standard Molecular Weight Processing Aids
Kane Ace™ PA210
Excellent general purpose processing aid that promotes a wide processing window. Its fine particle size distribution enhances dispersion properties and efficiency. Applications are extrusion, flexible film, rigid film & sheet.
Kane Ace™ 3FK
Recommended with emulsion, suspension and mass grade of PVC polymers. Suitable for cold & hot blending. Applications are rigid and plasticized PVC formulations.
Kane Ace™ R230M
Recommended with emulsion, suspension and mass grade of PVC polymers. Suitable for cold blending in low speed mixer. Applications are rigid and plasticized PVC formulations.
Kane Ace™ PA211
Excellent general purpose processing aid. By significantly improving the dispersibility, PA211 can drastically reduce the fish eye level and as such increase production output.
